Questions answered.

What is sex therapy and how is it different from regular talking therapy?

Sex therapy is a specialist form of psychotherapy that focuses on sexual health, function, and relationships. Sessions are entirely verbal, there is no physical contact. A qualified sex therapist has specific training to address issues that general therapists may not feel equipped to explore.

Do I have to be in a relationship to benefit from sex therapy?

Absolutely not. Individual sex therapy is just as valuable as couples work. Many clients come alone to work on personal experiences, identity, trauma, or self-understanding — all completely valid reasons to start therapy.

Is this service LGBTQ+ affirming?

Yes, fully and wholeheartedly. The Sex Ed Club is an explicitly inclusive, queer-affirming practice. All identities, orientations, and relationship structures are welcome and respected.

How much does sex therapy cost?

Prices are £80 for individual in-person, £70 individual online, £100 for couples in-person and £90 for couples online.

Are sessions in person or online?

Sessions are available both online, via secure video call, making them accessible to clients across England, Wales, and Scotland and in-person (Brighton).
